Bought this item to accommodate the Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick 8-Quart pot, which I obtained from a outlet retail store. Now my wife has the complete set. Works great for steaming frozen vegetables.
Quality Product from Calphalon (2009-11-24)
This is a great pot; durable, easy to clean, great design. Also, the Contemporary line is Made in USA, whereas the cheaper line; Simply, is Made in China. The only negative about this pot is that the lid handle gets hot and you need to use a oven mitt to take it off. Otherwise, great product
great for sauces/soups (2009-11-24)
I love all of the Contemporary line items and recently got this one to add to my collection. It is great size for heating up sauces and soups. It heats fast and the glass lid it great so you can see how quickly it is heating up.
Calphalon saucepan (2009-02-02)
I have good results with Calphalon. This took a long time to get but I needed this size and it was worth the wait...Could not find it for less ANYWHERE!!!!
Calphalon Contemporary Pasta Insert (2008-08-23)
I have the Calphalon Contemporary pots and pans. This insert will only work for the Calphalon Contemporary collection. It is made extremely well and so nice to have the insert and the pot together so you don't have to get a separate stainer out from the cabinet while preparing pasta. I love it and use it often.
