Great for everyday use (2010-01-20)
Well, I have not had such a horrible experience as others have. As soon as we got ours I washed them on a light cycle in cold water with Tide, dried them on tumble medium and they were soft, nice, thick, and highly absorbant! Every week we wash our dirty ones and then place the cleans ones out. I think the trouble some of the others reviewers may have had is that they must have used fabric softener. The cleaning instructions clearly state not to use fabric softener as it could ruin the level of absorbancy. No problems here
