I found this Turner to be perfect for Chicken and Pork Chops when you are searing them on the stove before you put it into the oven. Very sturdy and does not flex under the weight of the food. Well worth the money.

Can't go wrong getting this for <$10 with free shipping .. nice size and I haven't experienced any heat/melting problems at all as noted in the other reviews. Cleans up easily, lightweight, and is non-stick. A good choice if you need a good spatula.

The quality is great, won't ruin your skillet - on the other hand not 100% perfect for turning heavy items like chicken breasts or home fries. Overall - highly recommend!

the nylon slotted turner is great.
I use everyday & it still looks like new.
There is no melting & cracking on the edges.
It is what I expected from calphalon.
It does melt (2008-04-28)
This does melt from the heat when using it. I like it but it will not hold up with use. The part where it touches the heat looks like it is curling up but I suspect it is just melting away. Very nice looking but not as heat resistant as they claim.
