With a tiny bit of oil or butter this pan becomes wonderfully non-stick for a great price. I have a sense it's going to last a long time, but that's the REAL question, isn't it?
Great large nonstick fryer (2010-05-20)
Amazing pan. My family uses this thing for everything. Made omelets that came out perfect without even spraying the pan first,it also made enough stir fry to feed all four of us. Its the perfect large pan for large meals. Just make sure you don't use metal utensils that could wear down the nonstick surface. Better to use wood or plastic and this thing should last a very very long time. We learned that the hard way with our last pan but we are glad we have this pan now because its just way better. Five stars.
Could be heavier (2010-05-18)
I like the large capacity, glass lid and dual handles. Nonstick surface seems durable and cleanup is a breeze. The only thing that I'd change is the fact that it is very lightweight compared to my other Calphalon pans, but that might be because my older ones are from a different (higher-end?) product line.
Multi functional - my favorite in the whole kitchen (2010-04-01)
This is my favorite pan in my entire life. I cook a lot and have a relatively small kitchen. I use it to make quick stir fry, for steaming fish or veges, casseroles, soup.....endless ideas.
I call it my multi-wok! All functions can be applied to this multi wok!
The only drawbacks is the hot handle ~ always forget abt it when I try to grab it. ANyway, can't complain with their multi functionality.
perfect (2010-02-26)
Just right, plenty of surface for cooking all sorts of foods. Sides are deep enough for cooking a stew or sauce but not so deep that you can't get at items to turn or flip them. Cleans exceptionally easily.
